Headquartered in Lancaster, England, our brand was born out of a passion for the outdoors. Our founders were avid climbers who struggled to find activewear that combined function, performance, and style. They set out to design apparel that would enable people to move freely and pursue their favorite activities, without sacrificing design or sustainability.
Over the past decade, Technicals® has established itself as a leading UK-based athleisure brand renowned for its versatile, technical fabrics and modern, minimalist aesthetic. Although we operate globally, we remain loyal to our British roots and continue to design, test, and improve our products from our Lancaster headquarters.

Our Technical Fabrics
What sets Technicals® apart is our innovation with technical fabrics. We work closely with our suppliers to create exclusive textiles that perform without compromising comfort and style.
Some of our most advanced fabrics include:
- Dri-Release® – Our unique sweat-wicking fabric featuring soft cotton on the inside and moisture-managing polyester on the outside. It keeps you dry during workouts.
- Sci-MX® – A quick-drying, abrasion-resistant polyester fabric that retains structure. It’s extremely durable and flexible.
- Thermoreg® – A hollowfiber polyester that provides incredible warmth without bulk. It allows for lightweight insulation.
- Duralite® – An ultra lightweight nylon ripstop that resists wind and water. It provides weather protection and breathability.
- Vapodri® – A polyester microfiber that wicks moisture and dries quickly. It prevents overheating and chilling.
We carefully test our fabrics to ensure they offer the ideal balance of performance, comfort, and style for daily active living. Our in-house R&D team is continually developing new textiles and seeking ways to improve our existing offerings.

- Providing product care guidelines to help customers extend the life of their Technicals® gear. We also offer repair services at our Lancaster HQ.
